Well, it's been officially 10 days since the voting on the cubist competition ended and still no announcement of who the winner's are. Or maybe it's already been announced and I'm just not looking in the right place to see who got first prize. If that's the case then congratulations to the artist who earned it. As for me, I'm working on a T Shirt for the next competition. Win or lose, all the artists entering these competitions are certain to have fine additions to their portfolios.

Today was an interesting day. While I was working on a second illustration from a not as yet released book I was being entertained by the Blue Angels practicing outside my studio window for an upcoming air show. I haven't heard the rush of afterburners and air brakes in over 40 years. An amazing display of sight and sound.
